Information

Papakura Museum celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Papakura Farmers Store with an exhibition that explores the history of the store and the contribution that it has made to the town. The Papakura Farmers Store opened in August of 1919, taking the place of the Willis Bros Store, which acted as the main general store in Papakura since 1853. The historical significance of the building, and store’s long-standing presence as a retail pillar in Papakura is explored through historical photographs, objects that Farmers sold, and stories from locals who worked in the store over the past century. Exhibition opens Thursday 8th August.

Exhibition suitable for all ages. Open daily. Free Admission.
